Hudson man arrested for sexual misconduct

Claverack, New York – On July 31, 2015, New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Livingston barracks arrested 18-year-old Dylan Cowin of Hudson, New York, for Sexual Misconduct, a Class A Misdemeanor.
Following an investigation conducted by the State Police and the Columbia County Child Advocacy Center, it was determined that Cowin had an inappropriate sexual relationship with a 13-year-old child in June of 2015.
The State Police were assisted by the Columbia County Child Protective Services, the Columbia County Child Advocacy Center and the Columbia County District Attorney’s Office
Cowin was arraigned before the Town of Claverack Court and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to return to Claverack Court Tuesday, August 4th.
