Poughkeepsie, New York – On July 30, 2015, New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Rhinebeck barracks arrested 26-year-old Zachary M. Remsburger of Hyde Park, for the Class D-Felony of Grand Larceny 3rd Degree.

State Police were contacted by a Rhode Island man who reported that he purchased a motorcycle from Remsburger in February 2015 for the sum of $5000 cash. The victim reported that the motorcycle had a lien on the title, unbeknownst to him at the time of the sale.  Remsburger sold the 2012 Kawasaki to the buyer under the pretense that it had a clean title, free of liens. The motorcycle, which is now is being repossessed by the bank, leaves the buyer at a monetary loss of $5000 cash.

Remsburger was arraigned at the City of Poughkeepsie Court and released on his own recognizance.
