New Windsor man arrested for stealing unemployment benefits

PRESS RELEASE

The New York State Police announce the arrest of William L Gross, age 30, of New Windsor. Mr. Gross was charged with Grand Larceny in the Third  Degree, a Class D Felony, and Offering a False Instrument for Filing in the First Degree, a Class E Felony.
Investigation by the New York State Police in conjunction with the New York State Department of Labor revealed that while Gross was gainfully employed, he did unlawfully receive $3,031.50 in New York State Unemployment Benefits.
Gross to appear in the Town of Newburgh Court on August 31, 2015 at 1:00P.M.
