Danbury man arrested for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated following traffic stop

Southeast, New York – On July 19, 2015, New York State Police from the Brewster barracks arrested Kleber C. Rodriguez-Guzman, 35 years old, of Danbury, Connecticut, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated under Leandra’s Law, a Class E Felony.

Troopers stopped the vehicle Rodriguez-Guzman was operating on Danbury Road for erratic operation.  While interviewing Rodriguez-Guzman, police observed clues that indicated he was intoxicated at the time of the stop.  Rodriguez-Guzman was charged with Aggravated DWI under Leandra’s Law for driving while intoxicated with two child passengers under the age of 16.

Rodriguez-Guzman provided a positive breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .14%.  He was arraigned before the Town of Southeast Court and is schedule to re-appear in court on August 11, 2015.
