Putnam Valley man arrested for violating order of protection

PRESS RELEASE
Putnam Valley, New York – On June 21, 2015, New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Patrick Vasi Jr., 25 years old, of Putnam Valley, New York, for Criminal Contempt 1st Degree, a Class E Felony.

Vasi was arrested for violating a limited court order of protection.  The victim reported that Vasi threatened to harm him during a verbal dispute.  He was charged with Criminal Contempt 1st degree due to a previous criminal contempt conviction within the preceding five years.

Vasi was arraigned before the Putnam Valley Court and remanded to Putnam County Jail in lieu of $500 cash bail.  Vasi is scheduled to return to court on June 25, 2015 at 11:30 a.m.
