Southeast resident charged with Felony Driving While Intoxicated

Brewster, New York – On June 14, 2015, New York State Police from Brewster charged Roseanne Lockwood-Caporale, 58 years old, of Southeast, New York, with Driving While Intoxicated, a Class D Felony.

Troopers responded to North Main Street in the Village of Brewster to assist the village police with a vehicle and traffic stop.  While they conducted an interview of the driver, Lockwood-Caporale, they observed clues that indicated she was intoxicated at the time of the stop.

Lockwood-Caporale was charged with Felony DWI when investigation revealed that she was convicted of DWI two times within the last 10 years.  One conviction occurred in August of 2006 and the second conviction was in May of 2007.

Lockwood-Caporale is scheduled to appear in the Village of Brewster Court at a later date.
