Elmsford, New York – On June 13, 2015, New York State Police from the Hawthorne barracks arrested 20-year-old Stefania Montoya-Navarro of Cortlandt, New York, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.

Troopers were dispatched by the Hudson Valley Transportation Management Center to investigate a one-car auto collision that occurred on the exit ramp of the Sprain Brook Parkway.

An investigation conducted by police revealed that Montoya-Navarro, the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, was intoxicated at the time of the crash.

Montoya-Navarro supplied police with a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .18%, more than two times the legal limit of intoxication.  She was issued traffic tickets directing her to appear before the Village of Elmsford Court at a later date.
