Stockport man arrested following following sex abuse investigation

PRESS RELEASE
Stockport, New York – On June 9, 2015, New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Livingston barracks arrested Shane M. Laurange, 25 years old, of Stockport, New York, for Sexual Abuse 1st Degree and for Disseminating Indecent Material to Minors 1st Degree.  Both charges are Class D Felonies.

Following an investigation conducted by the State Police, it was discovered that Laurange had sexual contact with an 11-year-old female victim and sent her lewd photographs.

Laurange was arraigned before the Town of Stockport Justice Court and remanded to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $30,000 cash bail or $60,000 bond

 

Troopers were dispatched by Columbia County 911 to County Route 11a in the Town of Taghkanic for a vehicle off the roadway.  Investigation revealed that Taylor, the driver of the vehicle, was intoxicated at the time of the crash.  Taylor was also charged with possessing oxycodone.

The State Police were assisted by the Copake Rescue Squad.  Taylor was transported to Columbia Memorial Hospital for an evaluation.

Taylor was charged with Felony Driving While Intoxicated after it was discovered that she was previously convicted of DWI in March of 2008.

Taylor was issued traffic tickets directing her to appear before the town of Taghkanic Court on June 18, 2015 at 5:30 p.m.
