Hillsdale woman charged with Felony Driving While Intoxicated

Taghkanic, New York – On June 9, 2015, New York State Police arrested Lynn A. Taylor, 54 years old, of Hillsdale, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated, a Class E Felony and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.

Troopers were dispatched by Columbia County 911 to County Route 11a in the Town of Taghkanic for a vehicle off the roadway.  Investigation revealed that Taylor, the driver of the vehicle, was intoxicated at the time of the crash.  Taylor was also charged with possessing oxycodone.

The State Police were assisted by the Copake Rescue Squad.  Taylor was transported to Columbia Memorial Hospital for an evaluation.

Taylor was charged with Felony Driving While Intoxicated after it was discovered that she was previously convicted of DWI in March of 2008.

Taylor was issued traffic tickets directing her to appear before the town of Taghkanic Court on June 18, 2015 at 5:30 p.m.
