Body found in Hudson River

PRESS RELEASE

On Saturday May 23, 2015 the State Police located and removed a body from the Hudson River in the vicinity of the West Point Military Academy.  Under the direction of the Orange County Medical Examiner’s Office, the body was transported to the Orange County morgue where an autopsy will be performed.  The investigation into this discovery remains ongoing.  The State Police were assisted at the scene by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, the Rockland County Sheriff’s Department, and West Point Military Police.
