TUESDAY, MAY 12, 2015

1. Today is an “A” Day.

2. Attention all high school students – We have a change in elections this year for Student Council! There will no longer be a class vote – there will now be an interview process. Please see Ms. Krieger if you are interested in running. Packets are available in Ms. Krieger’s room and must be completed by May 13th.

3. Please remember that Summer Scholars completed applications are due to the guidance office by Monday, May 18th. 

4. All 6th grade students MUST wear sneakers on Thursday for the 5th and 6th grade Track Meet. You should also being a water bottle with your name on it!

5. Only 2 days left to submit your packet for Student Council elections. All packets and letter of intent must be given to Ms. Krieger by 2:10 pm tomorrow.

6. If anyone is interested in participating in Grim Reaper Day, please see Ms. Mangar!

7. Cosplay members: Our meeting has been changed to Thursday at 2:10 pm in room 1129. There is no meeting today, Tuesday, May 12th.

8. There will be a Junior Honor Society meeting today during first lunch. We will be discussing the food drive. Make your best effort to be there!

9. There will be a Leo Club meeting today during both lunches in Mrs. Colacchio’s room.

10. Attention all high school students who are taking Photo Journalism next year or who are interested in joining Yearbook Club. There will be a mandatory meeting this Wednesday, May 13th after school from 2-3:30 pm. We will be working on choosing the theme for next year and designing the cover. Please see Ms. Wool if you have any questions.

11. Shrek rehearsal today will be from 2-5 pm Act II. All cast members be sure to attend this rehearsal! We will be working through the act on vocals blocking, and choreography. Let’s pull this show together!!

12. There will be a Scrub Club meeting on Wednesday, May 20th. Make plans to be there!

13. Dutchess BOCES CTI will be holding its Summer Enrichment program the week of July 13th through July 17th. The program is available to all students who will be entering 7th, 8th, and 9th grade. Please see you middle school guidance counselor for an application. Applications are due Friday, May 15th.

14. With the warm weather approaching, please be sure to adhere to the dress code that is stated in the code of conduct.

15. Please remember that there are several scholarships that are due next week: Mary Anttila and Jim Harding Dover Little League Scholarships are due today. Mid-Hudson Kennel Association Scholarship is due May 15th. Mitchell Colucci Scholarship for the Fine Arts is due May 20th. Stop by the guidance office or get the applications from Naviance!
