Hudson Falls woman charged with Felony Driving While Intoxicated

Claverack, New York – On May 8, 2015, New York State Police from the Livingston barracks arrested Danielle J. Montgomery, 39 years old, of Hudson Falls, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated, a Felony, due to two previous DWI related convictions.Troopers were dispatched by Columbia County 911 to assist Greenport Rescue Squad and Claverack Fire Department with an unresponsive subject behind the wheel of a vehicle stopped on Shaw Bridge Road. Subsequent investigation revealed that the driver of the vehicle, Montgomery, was intoxicated.Montgomery was charged with Felony DWI when investigation revealed that she was convicted of DWI related offenses in 2008 and 2015.
The State Police were assisted by the Greenport Rescue Squad and the Claverack Fire Department.
Montgomery was arraigned before the Town of Claverack Court and remanded to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond. She is scheduled to return to the Town of Claverack Court on May 13, 2015.
