Bobette G. Costella, 76, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

Bobette was born in Queens, NY on February 3, 1947.  She was a long-time resident of Lake Carmel, NY where she raised her three children, and then resided in Pawling, NY for the last 11 years.

Before retiring, Bobette worked at CCSD, followed by Guideposts and then at Putnam Federal Credit Union in Carmel, NY.  Some of her greatest joys were her 6 grandsons.  Hunter, Logan and Otis Costella of Holmes NY.  Nicolas, Jaden and Tucker Hauth of Land O Lakes, FL.   She was a super proud United States Coast Guard Gram-Gram (Hunter an MK3, and Nicolas a Seaman).

Some of her best days were days spent reading and hanging out with her second family at Camp Waubeeka in Copake, NY, where the statement, friends that become family proved to be true.  She loved her 6 months of the year she got to spend with “her people”.

She is survived by her son Kenneth Costella of Holmes, NY and daughter Kris Costella (Jim Hauth) of Land O Lakes, Florida.  Sister, Mabel Galanek of Floral Park, NY and brothers Billy Sadlo (Trish) and Tommy Sadlo from Astoria NY, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and all of her friends.
