The Kent Art Association is happy to introduce an exhibit featuring a survey of many styles and techniques used in the creation of works in fiber. Join us to see wall hangings, quilts, clothing, and more crafted in each artists’ unique style. Featuring works from: Toni Brogan, Amelia de Neergaard, Karen Eckmeier, Ellen Moon, Missy Stevens, and Muriel Stockdale. The opening reception will be from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Friday, September 8th at the Kent Art Association, 21 South Main Street, Kent, CT. The exhibit can be viewed Thursdays through Saturdays 1:00pm-5:00pm and Sundays from 12:00pm to 4:00pm

Saturday, September 9th from 10:00am-11:00am, our Coffee Talk will be led by Deborah Chambrian, president of the board of directors of the Kent Historical Society who will speak on the life and times of KAA founder, sculptor Willard Paddock. Deborah and her family presently live and have their studio in the old Paddock home and have a unique experience and knowledge of Paddock’s life and time as an influential artist. Please plan to join us! No registration necessary.

We’re celebrating our 100th year! Please join us on Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 6:00pm-10:00pm at the Kent Community House, 93 North Main St, Kent, CT. The Gala will feature a buffet dinner, live music, and a silent auction. 1920’s style attire encouraged, and prizes will be awarded for the best costume! Tickets are on sale at the KAA office and online via PayPal.
