Susan E. Howard, 77, a resident of Wingdale, NY, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, CT.
Born on November 17, 1945 in New York, NY she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Eleanor (Brodsky) Howard. Ms. Howard received a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University and worked as a caregiver at New Horizons Resources.
In the late 1990’s and early 2000s, Susan performed in Barbra Streisand Impersonation shows in Provincetown, RI and Naples, FL. In 2016, she published a children’s book, “The Tale of the Tail.” From April to May 2022, Susan starred at the Sherman Players’ production, “Whodunnit?”
Ms. Howard is survived by her companion, Jerry Suk, of Wingdale, NY and a brother, Peter Howard of Albany, NY.
Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. A time of sharing will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dutchess County SPCA, 636 Violet Ave, Hyde Park, NY 12538.
