Obituary, Leonard H. Christo

Leonard H. Christo, 92, a resident of Dover Plains, NY since 2008 passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022 at Sharon Health Care Center in Sharon, CT. Mr. Christo was a maintenance man at the Croton Harmon School District for 25 years retiring in 1994.

Born on February 27, 1930 in Logan, Iowa he was the son of the late Cassius Clay and Lorraina (Clark) Christo. Mr. Christo proudly served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. On March 13, 1954 in Highland Falls, NY, he married Mary A. Blanco who predeceased him on December 7, 2018.

Mr. Christo is survived by his loving son, Corey Christo and his wife, Karen, of Dover Plains, NY and two grandchildren, Kathryn Elizabeth and Jason Eric Christo. In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Christo was predeceased by six brothers and three sisters.

Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, October 14, 2022 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY.
