State Troopers arrested three men following a burglary from Walgreens in the town of Lagrange

On October 11, 2022, at approximately 9:35 a.m., State Troopers along with investigators from Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) responded to Walgreens on State Route 55 in the Town of Lagrange for a report of a robbery. Preliminary investigation revealed that three males entered the store and jumped over the pharmacy counter.  They stole numerous medications then fled in a black Toyota Camry. No weapons were displayed during the incident. Troopers spotted the vehicle on the Taconic State Parkway near Carpenter Road and attempted to initiate a traffic stop.  The vehicle failed to comply and subsequently crashed at Pudding Street and the Taconic State Parkway.  All three suspects fled the vehicle on foot and were apprehended a short time later. All three were transported to Westchester Medical Center for evaluation of non-life-threatening injuries. The three suspects are identified as Darryl A. Odom Jr, age 25 from Manhattan, Jason Wade, age 21 from Brooklyn, and Bahkeem Cooke, age 22, from Brooklyn.

Odom was charged with Robbery 3rd degree, Burglary 3rd degree, Conspiracy 5th degree, Petit Larceny. Odom also is wanted out of Bergen County, New Jersey, and New York City.

Wade was charged was charged Robbery 3rd degree, Burglary 3rd degree, Conspiracy 5th degree, Petit Larceny and is wanted by New York City Police Department.

Cooke, the operator of the vehicle, was charged with Robbery 3rd degree, Burglary 3rd degree, Conspiracy 5th degree and Unlawfully Fleeing.

All three were arraigned in the Town of Lagrange Court and were Released on their own Recognizance with a return date of November 15, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. Wade and Odom were turned over to the New York City Police Department on outstanding charges.
