Obituary, Patricia Ann Venus

Patricia Ann Venus, 87, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, April 6, 2022.
Patricia, affectionately known as Patsy, born March 13, 1935, was a lifelong resident of Pawling, NY, a lifetime parishioner of St John the Evangelist Catholic Church and a 
65-year member of the Catholic Daughters of America.
Patsy is a graduate of Pawling Central School (class of 1953) and The Berkley Secretarial School, White Plains, NY.
Over the years, she worked for the telephone company, IBM, LL Tompkins, and Bill Kiernan’s Chevrolet Dealership.  Patsy retired a bank manager from M&T Bank in Pawling. 
She is survived by her daughter, Ann Yegella Kurchack (Stephen Lenihan) of Newtown PA.
Grandchildren Phillip Kurchack (Stephanie) of Bedford Hills, NY and Matthew Kurchack (Holly), Daniel Kurchack, Robert Kurchack, and Leah Kurchack-Gonzales (Michael Gonzales) all residing in AZ. Great grandchildren, Jillian and Jason of Bedford Hills NY and  Dirk, Emma, Ava, and Grace of Gilbert, AZ.  In addition, she leaves her beloved nieces and nephews, her sister-in-law Rafaela Venus, and many wonderful friends.
Patsy was predeceased by her parents Anna (Cunningham) and Charles P. Venus; her sisters Ann V. Sheridan (Leo), Faith V. Ward (Fred), MaryLou V. Honan (Bob), her brother Charles P, Venus, her nephew Richard Ward, and her former husband, Robert C. Yegella.
Family and friends may pay their respects at the Horn & Thomes, Inc Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, NY Friday, April 8th from 4-7 PM.  The Rosary will be said at 5 PM and the Catholic Daughters will conduct a service at 6 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St John’s Church, Pawling, Saturday, April 9th at 10 AM.
