Clintondale man arrested on 18 counts of Forgery and Grand Larceny

Ellenville, NY – On April 6, 2022, State Police from the Ellenville Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) arrested Thomas Mann, age 36 from Clintondale, NY for 8 counts Forgery 2nd degree, 8 counts of Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd degree, and 1 count of Grand Larceny 3rd degree, all felonies.

On March 10, 2022, State Police Ellenville were notified of a fraud case involving a checking account of a deceased individual. Investigation revealed that Mann located checks of the deceased and began to use them. He used the checks to pay bills and for his own personal use. Mann defrauded the bank of $4,518.

Thomas Man was arraigned in the Town of Rochester Court and remanded to Ulster County Jail. His preliminary hearing with be decided by the Village of Ellenville Court.
