Middletown man arrested for Forgery, Grand Larceny & Falsifying Business Records

PRESS RELEASE

State Police at Montgomery arrested William J. Tyler of Middletown, NY for Grand Larceny 3rd Degree (Class D Felony), Falsifying Business Records 1st Degree(Class E Felony) and Forgery in the 2nd Degree (Class D Felony).

Investigation leading to Mr. Tyler’s arrest revealed that while he was employed as a Finance Manager at a local car dealership in the Town of Newburgh, he did steal over $3,000.00 and attempted to cover up the theft by committing forgery and fasifying business records at the dealership.

Mr. Tyler was processed through the State Police Barracks in Montgomery, NY. He was arraigned by Town of Newburgh Justice Richard Clarino and was remanded to Orange County Jail in lieu of $1,500.00 cash bail.
