White Plains man arrested for robbery in Cortlandt

Cortlandt, New York – On June 12, 2020, the New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Keenan Perez, age 50, of White Plains, NY, for Robbery in the 3rd degree, a class D felony.

On June 11, 2020, at approximately 3:10 p.m., Troopers were dispatched to the Smart Gas Station on East Main Street for a report of a robbery.  Investigation revealed Keenan Perez forcibly stole an unspecified number of New York State scratch off lottery tickets.

Perez was virtually arraigned before the town of Cortlandt Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail without bail.  Perez is next scheduled to appear before the Court on August 6, 2020, at 9:00 a.m.

The State Police were assisted by the Westchester County Police Department, the Westchester County Real Time Crime Center, and the New Rochelle Police Department.
