Obituary, K – Angelina Miserendino

MILLBROOK – Angelina Miserendino, 86, died on May 15, 2020 at the Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Pawling. She previously lived in Baldwin.

Born on March 13, 1934, Angelina was the daughter of the late Dominick and Catherine (Ferrovechio) Zaccheo. She worked as an insurance underwriter for DC White in Lynbrook then for the Office of the Aging in Nassau County in the Fiscal Department until her retirement at the age of 75.

She had been a parishioner at St. Christopher’s Church in Baldwin. An avid reader, Angelina also liked to travel and to paint. She loved playing mahjong with friends.
On November 13, 1955 in Brooklyn, she married Michael Miserendino who predeceased her. Angelina is survived by her children, Joseph Miserendino of New York City and Michelle Agnew and her husband Christian of LaGrangeviile; and her granddaughter, Alexis Agnew.

Private entombment will take place at Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury this week.
