Joesph J.T. Peterson, Age 65, of Wassaic, NY.
On May 2, 2020 Joe passed after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Born September 19, 1954, in Mt Kisco NY, a graduate from Yorktown High School. He worked 30 years as a direct caregiver at Taconic DDSO retiring in September 2011. Joe loved spending time with family and friends especially if it involved fishing, hunting, and riding his Harley. He leases behind a wife, Melanie Greene Peterson who survives at home; a mother-in-law Maureen Greene Magilauy of Tucson AZ.; a son Joe Peterson, his wife Kimberly and two grandsons of Green Castle PA.; a daughter Misty Peterson of Carmil, CA.; a brother Peter Peterson and family of Sharon CT.; a sister Catherine Peterson of Peekspill NY.; a sister Pam Mima of New Hampton NY. He also leaves behind several nephews, nieces, and cousins. There were many special people in his Joe’s life. A personal thank you to those that were here with us during his final battle.
