New Jersey man arrested for felony drug possession in Lagrange

Lagrange, New York – On September 11, 2019, the New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested Carlos A. Rodriguez Garo, age 27, of Jersey City, NJ, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th degree, a class C felony, and Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor.

On September 11, 2019, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 2019 Toyota Camry for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law on State Route 55 in the town of Lagrange.  An investigation found the operator, Carlos Rodriguez Garo, was in possession of approximately 4 grams of cocaine as well as paraphernalia used divide and measure drugs.

Rodriguez Garo was arraigned before the town of Lagrange Court, and released to the supervision of Dutchess County Probation by the Honorable Judge Sullivan.  Rodriguez Garo is next scheduled to appear before the court on September 12, 2019, at 5:00 p.m.
