Wanted by The New York State Police

Ralph J. Smalley, 35, is wanted by State Police in Dover Plains on a charge of sexual misconduct. Troopers said Smalley was charged with first-degree rape in 2004 but the charge was reduced to sexual misconduct. Smalley failed to arrive for future court proceedings. Troopers said they believe Smalley may be living in Tennessee but may have returned to New York.

Ralph J. Smalley is wanted by the New York State Police and the town of Amenia Court. The State Police arrested Smalley in 2004 for Rape in the 1st degree, which was reduced in court to a plea bargain charge of Sexual Misconduct. Smalley then failed to appear for future proceedings. Smalley has been known to reside in Tennessee, but may have returned to the New York area.
