Chatham man arrested after using stolen credit card

PRESS RELEASE

On April 2, 2015, The New York State Police at Catskill arrested MARK A.EGER, age 54, of Chatham, NY, for the charges of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th degree, a class E Felony, Identity Theft 2nd degree, a Class E Felony and Petit Larceny, a class A Misdemeanor.

EGER was arrested after he was found in possession of a credit card that had been reported stolen. EGER subsequently used the credit card and the victim’s PIN number to withdraw money from her bank account.

EGER was arraigned before Town of Catskill Justice Wooten and remanded to the Greene County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
