Town of Plattekill man arrested for felony possession of cocaine

03/31/15 – The New York State Police – Highland BCI announce the arrest of 30 year old, Nestor Rodriguez of Modena, NY, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree (a class D felony) and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana (a violation).
On 03/31/15, SP Highland patrols conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Rodriguez, for an equipment violation that occurred in the Town of Plattekill, NY. Investigation then led to the discovery that Rodriguez possessed cocaine and a small quantity of marijuana.
Rodriguez was arraigned before Judge Maciocia in the Town of Plattekill Court and was subsequently remanded to Ulster County Jail on $1000 Cash / $2,000 bond. Rodriguez is scheduled to re-appear in the Town of Plattekill Court on 04/06/15 at 3pm.
