Village of Walden man arrested for stealing from the New York State Department of Labor
The New York State Police announce the arrest of Matthew R Severo, age 22, of Walden, New York. Mr. Severo was charged with Grand Larceny in the 3rd Degree, a Class “D” Felony and Offering a False Instrument for Filing 1st Degree, a Class “E” Felony.
Investigation by the New York State Police in conjunction with the New York State Department of Labor revealed that Mr. Severo received over $3,195.50 in New York State Unemployment Benefits while being gainfully employed.
Mr. Severo is to appear in the Village of Walden Court on April 8th, 2015 at 4:30P.M.
