Somers woman charged with DWI following erratic vehicle complaint

PRESS RELEASE

Somers, New York – On April 1, 2015, New York State Police from the Somers barracks charged 62-year-old Sybil A. Ulicky of Somers, New York, with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.

Troopers were dispatched to the area of Carolyn Way and Route 116 for a vehicle and traffic complaint. The responding officer arrived on scene and interviewed a Good Samaritan who stated that he followed Ulicky after he observed her strike a guard rail and continue to drive in an erratic manor. He then contacted 911 for police assistance.

The investigating Trooper interviewed Ulicky and observed clues that indicated she was intoxicated.

Ulicky provided a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .22% and was issued traffic tickets ordering her to appear before the Town of Somers Justice Court on April 13, 2015.
