Cortlandt man charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated

Yorktown, New York – On March 30, 2015, New York State Police from the Hawthorne barracks arrested Miro A. Pascale, 30 years old, of Cortlandt, New York, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.

Troopers patrolling the Taconic State Parkway in the area of the Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park observed a Jeep stopped in the middle lane. Officers approached the vehicle and observed the operator, identified as Pascale, sleeping in the driver’s seat. Investigation revealed that Pascale was intoxicated.

Pascale provided a positive breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content
of .21%, more than two times the legal limit of intoxication. Pascale was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear before the Town of Yorktown Court on April 23, 2015.
