State Police Roscoe arrest Kew Gardens man for Driving While Intoxicated

On September 19, 2018, State Police in Roscoe, NY. charged Zuher S Khalfan, 42, of Kew Gardens NY with the Felony of Aggravated DWI with a child passenger under the age of 16, and the misdemeanor of Driving While Intoxicated. After being stopped for speeding on Rockland Road in the Town of Rockland. An odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected coming from his breath. Khalfan performed a Standardized Field Sobriety Test in which he failed. He was taken into custody and the passengers under the age of 16 were turned over to a sober third party. He was arraigned in The Town of Rockland Court and was remanded to Sullivan County Jail on $10,000.00 cash bail.
