North Salem man arrested for menacing housemates with a knife

North Salem, New York – On April 4, 2018, the New York State Police from the Somers barracks arrested Edwin A. Martinez Ventura, age 36, of North Salem, for Menacing in the 2nd degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th degree, both class A misdemeanors.

On March 4, 2018, at approximately 2:00 a.m., Troopers were dispatched to Route 22 in the town of North Salem for a possible menacing with a weapon.  An investigation determined Martinez Ventura did menace two victims with a knife that lived in the same building.

Martinez Ventura was arraigned before the town of North Salem Court and remanded to the Westchester County jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
