East Fishkill man arrested for possession of cocaine after going off the roadway

Wappinger, New York – On April 3, 2018, the New York State Police from the Wappinger barracks arrested Christian I. Pulst, age 39, of East Fishkill, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th degree, a class D felony, and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd degree, an unclassified misdemeanor.

On April 3, 2018, at 9:00 p.m., Troopers were dispatched to a report of a vehicle crash on Old Hopewell Road in the town of Wappinger.  Troopers found the vehicle was disabled in a ditch without any damage to the vehicle or other property.  Interview of the operator, Pulst, determined he was driving with a suspended license.  Further investigation found he was also in possession of approximately 0.8 grams of cocaine.

Pulst was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the town of Wappinger Court on April 11, 2018, at 5:30 p.m.
