James Edward Barry III of Patterson, NY, died February 10, 2018 in Mid Hudson Regional Center. He was the husband of the late Catherine Barresi Barry. James was born in New Haven April 13, 1941, a son of Helen Lupinski Barry and the late James Edward Barry Jr. He proudly served his country in the US Navy during Vietnam and the Korean War and worked as a Blade Inspector for Sikorsky Aircraft for many years until his retirement. Father of Claudia Hamel and James Edward Barry IV. Brother of Thomas Barry. Grandfather of Melissa, Jessica and Erica Hamel, James, Robert and Jonathan Barry.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday morning at 11 in St. Stanislaus Church. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours.
