Two East Fishkill residents charged with using a stolen credit card

On July 19, 2017, the New York State Police arrested Kain S. Petersen, age 21, and Briana N. Zachry, age 23, both of East Fishkill, New York, for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree, a Class E Felony, and Identity Theft in the Third Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.

An investigation revealed that in March of 2016, Petersen and Zachry made fraudulent purchases using a stolen credit card.

Petersen was previously featured on the New York State Police Facebook page for Warrant Wednesday.

Petersen and Zachry were arraigned at the Town of Fishkill Court. They were each remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $3,000 cash bail or $6,000 bond. Their next court appearance was scheduled for July 25, 2017, at 9:00 a.m. at the Town of Fishkill Court.
