Mr. Alfred Aston Sadler, age 97, died Sunday, February 12, 2017 at TRU Community Care Center in Boulder. He was born in Pine Plains, New York on August 2, 1919, the son of Harriett P. (Wiltsie) and Edward Sadler. His family moved to Boulder CO in 1965 while he was working for IBM. Alfred was an avid skier, fisherman and hunter. He split his time between Boulder and Steamboat Springs. Preceding him in death was his wife Anne Norring Sadler. Surviving family members include his children Jay Sadler and his wife Carol of Lafayette, Kamma Sadler and Tee Sadler of Massachusetts, and Betsy Sadler of Lafayette. Also surviving Alfred are 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A private family service will be held in his honor.
