Obituary, Madeline D. O’Loughlin

 

Madeline D. O’Loughlin, of Brewster, NY, formerly of Pawling, NY and Wingdale, NY, passed away peacefully at Putnam Ridge Nursing Home in Brewster on Tuesday, February 14, 2017. She was 88 years old.

Mrs. O’Loughlin was born September 29, 1928 in Mt. Kisco, NY, daughter to the late Thomas J. and Mary (Mannix) Dennison. She graduated from Brewster High School in 1946 and attended nursing school at BOCES.

Madeline was an LPN with Harlem Valley Hospital in Wingdale, NY for 14 years, where she loved her job. She was also a waitress in Bob’s Diner for over 23 years. Her personality was one everyone loved, she was funny, and always made everyone smile. She loved to dance. Her greatest passion in life was her family, her children and grandchildren were her everything.

Mrs. O’Loughlin is survived by her 6 children; Martin (Sharon) May, Michael May, Maureen (Ron) Christie, Robin O’Loughlin, Patty Ann O’Loughlin and Kelly Magnuson, her 14 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and sister Mary Medeiros. She was predeceased by her granddaughter Danielle Kara May and her sisters Elizabeth Link, Evelyn Stevens and Pauline O’Loughlin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday February 17, 2017 at 11am at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church, Brewster, NY. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held on Thursday February 16, 2017 at  1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY from 4pm-8pm.
