Mary Conti, long-time resident of Pawling, NY passed away Thursday, September 8, 2016 at the Candlewood Valley Care Center, New Milford, CT.
Born in Brooklyn, NY on September 18 1920, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Katherine Cavaleri, and wife of John Conti of Pawling.
Mary worked for over 20 years as an aide at the Pawling Elementary School.
Mary was a member of St. John’s Church and a former member of the Catholic Daughters.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, MaryJane Murphy and her husband, Thomas, of New Fairfield, CT; three grandsons, Paul, Timothy and his wife, Hyunyoung, and Sean; two step-great-grandchildren, Amy & Ryan; and several nieces and nephews, especially her niece, Kathy Cavaleri.
Mary is predeceased by her brother, Vincent Cavaleri.
Funeral arrangements were private, under the direction of the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, NY.
