Bloomingburg man arrested for Burglary

PRESS RELEASE

The New York State Police at Wurtsboro announce the arrest of Nathaniel P. Palmatier, age 34 of Bloomingburg, for Burglary in the second degree, a class C Felony.

On the afternoon of July 26th, a citizen on Sullivan St in the Village of Wurtsboro observed a male subject force his way into a nearby residence and called 911. The witness further observed the same male exit the residence and flee on foot to a waiting vehicle. The Sullivan County 911 Center was able to put out a description of the male and the vehicle he had entered. Troopers from the Wurtsboro Barracks located the vehicle and male subject a short time later on Pine St in the Village of Wurtsboro and the perpetrator was identified as Nathaniel Palmatier.

Palmatier was charged with Burglary in the second degree, arraigned in the Town of Mamakating Court, and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail on $20,000 cash bail.
