Brooklyn man arrested for Burglary in the Town of Hurley

On July 26, 2016 the New York State Police – Bureau of Criminal Investigation at SP Kingston arrested TREVON PINDER, age 26 of Brooklyn, NY for Burglary in the second degree and Grand Larceny in the third degree.

On December 12, 2015 SP Kingston Troopers responded to Orchard St in the Town of Hurley for a burglary complaint. While investigating the burglary, a second victim on Orchard Street reported $8000 worth of computer equipment was stolen from her residence. Over the course of this extensive investigation, numerous persons were interviewed and PINDER was developed as a suspect in each case. An arrest warrant was issued for PINDER charging Burglary in the second degree (C-Felony) and Grand Larceny in the third degree (D-Felony) for his actions during the incident.  At the time of his arrest, PINDER was incarcerated in Downstate Correctional Facility as the result of an unrelated prior conviction.

PINDER remains in Downstate Correctional Facility and the case has been turned over to the Ulster County District Attorney for prosecution.
