Margaretville Man Arrested For Felony DWI in Poughkeepsie

On Saturday July 9, 2016 at 3:36am a 2000 Volkswagen was observed passing a red light on Main Street at the intersection with Perry St in the City of Poughkeepsie by a member of the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office who was on patrol
A traffic stop was conducted and an investigation revealed that the operator Isaac Gutierrez (37 yoa) of Margaretville, NY was intoxicated.   A check showed that he had a prior conviction for BAC.08% or more within the prior ten years, on March 26, 2007 in Delaware County.
Gutierrez was charged with both felony DWI & BAC .08% or more due to the prior conviction as well as Passing a Red Light a traffic infraction and arraigned in City of Poughkeepsie Court where he was  remanded to the Dutchess County Jail on no bail. He is scheduled to appear in City of Poughkeepsie Court on July 11, 2016 @ 9:00am.

All subjects arrested and charged are alleged to have committed the crime and are presumed innocent until proven guilty and are to appear in a local court at a later date.
