Bronx man charged with aggravated DWI following traffic stop

Greenburgh, New York – On July 9, 2016, New York State Police from the Hawthorne barracks arrested Christopher Perez, 34 years old, of Bronx, New York, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.

While traveling north on the Sprain Brook Parkway, Troopers observed a Honda fail to maintain its designated lane of travel and then come to a complete stop in the left lane.
Police stopped to interview the driver, identified as Perez, and discovered that he was intoxicated.

Perez provided a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of 0.23%, more than two times the legal limit of intoxication.  The defendant was issued Traffic Tickets returnable to the Town of Greenburgh Court on July 28, 2016 at 2:00 P.M.
