Arrests Made During Sobriety Check Point on Route 35 in Somers

On Saturday June 25, 2016, the New York State Police conducted a DWI Sobriety Checkpoint on Route 35 in the Town of Somers. During the detail the following arrests were made:
Tori E. Saferin, age 30, from West Hartford, CT was arrested for DWI and provided a breath sample that indicated she had a .13% BAC.
Dolores Metzner, age 61, from Yorktown Heights, NY was arrested for Aggravated DWI and provided a breath sample that indicated she had a .20% BAC.
All subjects were issued tickets to appear in the Town of Somers Court on July 7, 2016 at 6:30 PM.
