Town of West Hurley Man Arrested for Assault

On June 10, 2016 the New York State Police at Kingston arrested William B. McKnight, age 28, of West Hurley, NY for one count of Assault in the 2^nd Degree, a Class D Felony.

A New York State Police investigation found McKnight struck another man in the face with a glass beer bottle, causing the victim physical injury, while at a party in the Town of Saugerties.

McKnight was arraigned by Town of Woodstock Justice Husted and remanded to Ulster County Jail in lieu of $1,000.00 cash bail or $2,000.00 secured bond.  McKnight was ordered to appear in the Town of Saugerties Court at a later date.
