Dr. Jeremy Stone Speaks at Rotary
Dr. Jeremy Stone was the speaker at the regular Pawling Rotary lunch meeting on May 17th at noon in the Lathrop Building at Lakeside Park.  Dr. Stone, an Assistant Professor of Psychology in Psychiatry  at Weill Cornell Medical College and the Director of the Dialectical Behavior Therapy Program for Self Injuring Adolescents at New York Presbyterian Hospital in White Plains, spoke briefly about youngsters whose emotional problems lead them into these maladaptive behaviors, and about one of the successful treatments available to these teens.
Among Rotary’s guests at this meeting were Dr. William Ward, Superintendent of Pawling Schools, along with  Ms. Kim Fontana, Assistant Superintendent for Instruction and Mr. Scott Rice, Director of Pupil Personnel Services.  Ms. Katheryn Allen Berlandi, Dean of Counseling at Trinity Pawling School was also in attendance.
