North Salem woman arrested by State Police in Wappinger for drug possession

PRESS RELEASE

Poughkeepsie, New York – On May 10, 2016, New York State Police from the Wappinger barracks arrested Kayla R. Borelli Decola, 22 years old, of North Salem, New York, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree and Operating a Motor Vehicle Impaired by Drugs, both Misdemeanors.

Troopers stopped Decola on Hooker Avenue for failing to maintain her designated lane of travel.  Subsequent investigation revealed that Decola possessed heroin and was operating the vehicle impaired by drugs.

Decola was evaluated by a New York State Police Drug Recognition Expert.  The defendant was issued appearance tickets directing her to appear before the City of Poughkeepsie Justice Court on May 18, 2016 at 8:00 a.m.
