Car Stop Leads Troopers to Drug Arrest of South Fallsburg Man

PRESS RELEASE 

The New York State Police in Wurtsboro announce the arrest of SCOTT M. MUSGRAVE, age 56, of South Fallsburg, NY for the felony charge of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree.

MUSGRAVE was operating a vehicle on ST-17B in the Town of Thompson and was observed to be speeding.  Troopers stopped MUSGRAVE and determined that his NYS driver’s license had expired.  Further investigation determined that MUSGRAVE possessed a quantity of cocaine in his vehicle, resulting in the above listed charge.

MUSGRAVE was arraigned in the Town of Thompson Justice Court by Town Justice Sharon Jankiewicz, who committed MUSGRAVE to the Sullivan County Jail without bail.  Muscgrave is scheduled to appear in the Town of Thompson Court on April 18, 2016 at 5:00pm
