Rosa was stopped on the Taconic State Parkway for traveling 15 miles per hour below the posted speed limit and for failing to maintain her designated lane of travel.  A subsequent investigation revealed that Rosa was intoxicated.  The defendant was charged with Felony DWI under Leandra’s Law for having a 14-year-old passenger in the vehicle at the time of the traffic stop.

Rosa supplied a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .08% and was released on her own recognizance by the direction of the Town of Beekman Justice Court.  She was scheduled to appear in the Town of East Fishkill Court at a later date and time.
