Danbury man arrested for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated

Brewster, New York – On April 3, 2016, New York State Police from Brewster charged 23-year-old Elmer A. Hernandez-Quevedo of Danbury, Connecticut with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, an unclassified Misdemeanor.

Troopers were dispatched to assist the Village of Brewster Police Department with a two-car auto collision that occurred in the area of 542 North Main Street.  An investigation conducted by the responding Trooper revealed that Hernandez-Quevedo backed out of a parking space and collided with the rear of a Jeep. Hernandez-Quevedo was arrested for DWI after he failed standardized field sobriety testing.

Hernandez-Quevedo supplied a breath sample revealing a Blood Alcohol Content
of .20% and was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear before the Village of Brewster Court on April 18, 2016 at 4:30 p.m.
