Shane Magnetti of Stormville Presents Paper at Political Science Conference

ONEONTA, NY (04/07/2016)– Shane Magnetti of Stormville, NY, was selected to present a paper at SUNY Oneonta’s eighth annual Undergraduate Political Science Conference on April 1.

Magnetti, who is majoring in Political Science at SUNY Oneonta, presented a paper titled “The Politics of Lone Survivor and American Sniper.”

The conference featured a keynote address titled “Incarceration Rates in the U.S.” by Dr. Peter Enns, associate professor in the Department of Government and executive director of the Roper Center for Public Opinion Research at Cornell University.

The conference was organized by SUNY Oneonta’s Political Science Club, one of more than 100 student-run organizations at the college.
